Workshop on Participatory Research in the Solomon Islands
April – May 2004- This report describes the proceedings and outcomes of a seven-day training workshop on participatory research in the Solomon Islands. The organisers of the workshop brought together more than twenty-three women and men from around the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea in order to strengthen their research capacity in relation to the promotion of security and conflict resolution. The workshop was held between April 27-May 3 and sponsored by the Women’s Development Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the United Nations International Fund for Women (UNIFEM).
