This conference will address the links between traditional and critical approaches to security, the relationship between theory and policy, and new developments in the fields of security and conflict studies.
The conference is interdisciplinary in its approach and paper proposals are welcomed in the following broad areas: Critical Security Studies and beyond, Peacebuilding and Post-Conflict Reconstruction, Conflict Analysis, Conceptualising the War on Terror, American hegemony and the new security challenges.
