Security Sector Reform Publictions
As well as summarising and linking to other organisations' publications in the Document Library, GFN-SSR also publishes our own documents, and distributes and hosts electronic and hardcopies of documents for other organisations.
These are split into four different categories:
- Topic Guides provide an overview of specific SSR themes, with links to key literature in their respective areas. They aim to present information in a concise, relevant and easily accessible manner, targeted at policymakers and SSR practitioners.
- Regional Guides are used to access geographically-specific SSR information such as regional Topic Guides, Documents, Events, Organisations and Networks, using a map interface.
- GFN-SSR Publications contains documents either written and published by GFN-SSR, or edited and published by GFN-SSR.
- Other Key SSR Publications provides links to key SSR literature published by other organisations.

GFN-SSR has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DCAF. This is supported by an annual workplan outlining particular activities for cooperation and areas for information exchange.
GFN-SSR works closely with our sister project, the GSDRC, which specialises in information and resources on specific governance and social development issues.
